DANCE INSTRUCTOR POSITION:

Studio One Dance is seeking a warm, nurturing and energetic artist with a flexible schedule to fill a long-term substitute position and assist with other studio responsibilities (listed below). There is the opportunity to transition into a full instructor position at the studio starting as early as Summer 2026.  Applicants must have a strong dance background and experience working with children. Higher education or certification in a dance-related field is preferred for instructor positions. Please send your letter of interest, resume and dance reel to info@studioone-dance.com. 

Role Requirements

  • Strong dance background

  • Experience working with children

  • Flexible schedule

  • Advanced proficiency in ballet, lyrical, jazz, and acro styles 

  • Beginner-Intermediate proficiency in tap

  • Higher education or certification in a dance-related field preferred


Role Responsibilities

  • Fill long-term substitute position while a full-time instructor is on maternity leave (~ February to mid-April)

    • Mondays 7:20 - 8:20 PM (lyrical)

    • Thursdays 4 - 8:30 PM (ballet, jazz)

  • Serve as an assistant for other classes either consistently (Mondays) or as needed

  • Substitute for other instructors and assistants

  • Staff the front desk either consistently (Sundays) or as needed

  • Lead or assist Studio One birthday parties (Sundays)
