DRESS CODE

We're excited to share that we've transitioned to Nimbly as our new Dress Code provider! We're thrilled about this new system and hope you'll find it to be a clear, convenient way to purchase everything your dancer needs for class.

It is important to dress like a dancer for many reasons: proper dance wear allows for greater mobility, cuts down on fidgeting and limits distractions, allows instructors to better see placement and correct technique, and it sets the right tone for class by helping your child really feel like a dancer!

General Guidelines

  • Hair should be neatly secured away from the face before class. Ballet classes require hair in a ballet bun whenever possible.

  • Dancers should wear fitted dance attire appropriate for their class. Dancewear should allow for freedom of movement and enable instructors to clearly see body alignment.

  • The appropriate dance shoes are required for each class and should be worn only inside the studio.

  • Jewelry should be kept to a minimum. Small stud earrings are permitted, but necklaces, bracelets, watches, and large or dangling earrings should be left at home.
